Welcome Detroit Tigers Fans

Your 2011 Detroit Tigers are making the right moves in the offseason and taking care of their personnel who played well for the franchise. Resigned to the team are 3B Brandon Inge (2-year deal), SS Jhonny Peralta (2-year deal), OF Magglio Ordonez (1-year deal) OF Ryan Raburn (2-year deal) and P Joel Zumaya (1-year deal). The team also pulled off a trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks trading SP Armando Galarraga for pitchers Kevin Eichhorn and Ryan Robowski.

The franchise plans to retire longtime Tiger Sparky Anderson's No. 11 and the team will wear a memorial patch during the season and a special flag will be raised in his honor on Opening Day.
